UNX has made a very positive impact on our linen program. Our rewash percentage has been 2.3%, and I’d estimate our ragout to between 2%-3%. We have reduced our linen expenses by 36%, and I credit both our new laundry equipment efficiency and the UNX chemical program for that. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with UNX.

I converted our laundry program to UNX this past year and have been impressed with quality, cost and productivity. Our linen has been white and bright. I have realized significant savings in our laundry program and am particularly pleased I am able to monitor the amount of chemical being released to my washers to launder our product. UNX stepped up their game with the Mini Tron. The machine delivers results in the first wash. It has improved our reclaim dramatically. Our experience with UNX Industries has been a great one. We had a laundry program before we teamed up with UNX, but since we teamed up with UNX we are now more knowledgeable as a company, which has in turn given our sales staff more confidence to actively look for opportunities for new business. We have since added a warewash program that we didn’t have before. While working with Travis we have landed 5 hospital laundry departments, and with those we have increased our sales to those facilities on other products. Switching chemical companies is a decision that my team and I did not take lightly. Initially, I met with Travis and his UNX team to discuss options for our hospital Laundry Department. Travis agreed to allow us to trial the UNX chemicals and equipment. This allowed for a side-by-side comparison to evaluate the system. I am pleased to say we were so impressed with the results of the UNX chemicals and systems that we agreed to convert our Laundry Department over to the new system. Our transition was a smooth one and we saw no disruption to our service. Travis and his company have been very quick to respond to any questions and concerns.
